Kushagra holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, an M.Sc. Forestry (Silviculture and Agroforestry) from Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management at IIFM Bhopal (2023-25). Passionate about sustainability, carbon markets, and agroforestry, he has worked with CEEW, Varaha ClimateAg Pvt. Ltd., and Taralife Sustainability Solutions Pvt. Ltd., focusing on field research, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem restoration.
He published paper on Evaluating turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) productivity and economics under Melia composita-based agroforestry systems in the mid-hills of Northwestern Himalayas.
Beyond academics, he has been recognized in science competitions and actively contributes to environmental initiatives.
