Dhwaj Gautam PFM 2024-26

Dhwaj Gautam is an emerging sustainability professional currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management at the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, with academic foundations in Biosciences and Chemistry. His work lies at the intersection of sustainability research, ESG, community resilience, and environmental analysis. Through internships and field assignments, he has built experience in socio-economic assessments, sustainability reporting support, stakeholder engagement, climate-risk-linked research, and data-driven project documentation.

He has contributed to sustainability-focused assignments with organizations such as WWF-India, the Uttarakhand Forest Department, and the Institute of Study and Development Worldwide (IFSD), where he worked on rural livelihood assessments, ESG market mapping, policy and compliance research, watershed and forest management planning, and fellowship proposal development. During his internship with WWF-India, he conducted socio-economic and livelihood vulnerability assessments across 16 villages in Rajasthan and supported development of field-based recommendations for agriculture, dairy, nutrition, and clean energy interventions.

Earlier, at Pancoat Paints India Ltd., he supported research and quality analysis in a manufacturing environment, contributing to material testing, process improvement, waste-reduction thinking, and quality-control practices aligned with circular economy principles. He also brings client-facing and business coordination experience from his role at Canara HSBC Life Insurance, where he worked on revenue growth, client relationship management, and compliance-oriented service delivery.

Dhwaj is skilled in MS Office, Google Workspace, Power BI, GIS, SQL, SPSS, dashboarding, reporting, and presentation development. He combines analytical capability with strong stakeholder coordination, communication, and leadership experience through academic committees, NGO engagement, and extracurricular initiatives. A national-level badminton player and active youth leader, he has also led events with Bhumi NGO and contributed to dramatics and institutional activities, reflecting his collaborative mindset and all-round leadership potential.
